Balloon Jerks
Play either single player or 2 player head-to-head.
Colour Vision Deficiency mode for those with this condition (under Settings menu).
Modes
Classic
Fire balloons to form clusters of 3 or more which then pop!
The jerks make things harder by releasing more balloons.
Use the fine control button for more accuracy.
When the timer hits zero, the ceiling drops down!
If any balloons cross the dotted line, you lose.
Circus
Bounce piggies off the ends of the see-saw to pop balloons.
Don't land on your partner.
Press X to flip the see-saw.
The closer you land to the end, the higher the jump!
Snood
Just like classic mode, form clusters of 3 or more balloons.
No time limit but every time a balloon lands without popping, the danger meter increases. Once it is full, the ceiling drops down!
Wildcard balloons change colour so make sure you time firing them to your advantage.
Controls
Keyboard
- Left and Right Arrow keys to move
- X - select/fire
- Z - hold for fine control (better aiming)
Controller
- Left stick to move
- X (left button of 4) - select/fire
- A - hold for fine control (better aiming) alternatively use top shoulder buttons
Hi-Score Entry
- Up/Down - select a letter
- X - accept letter
- Left - back to previous letter

the png file is a picotron cartridge so, providing you own a copy of picotron, you’ll be able to load it and view the source

I used to load Pooyan onto my Atari 400 computer from a cassette tape and it took around 30 minutes before I could play but I loved it. I also love Popcap's Dynomite, so you picked a winning concept here! Bravo!

key remapping would be a very nice accessibility feature - with four buttons this could easily be mapped to one hand, but as it is i need to move my hand across the keyboard to play.

As a long-time Puzzle Bubble fan, I have to say you've done a fantastic job with this.
An amazing evolution of the mechanical systems in Puzzle Bobble, that brilliantly cheats in the player's favor, then adds extra obstacles to balance it out! Somehow it all adds up to a neat little action-- yes, action game!
