On the Atari 2600 version. Only the ones below shooting. Get boring after 2 stages because the rest isn't shooting. This is like a kid mode. lol

They can respawn back to life on the higher levels.

The little ones shooting for a short time and then following your ship when they're going down. Little ones doesn't respawn back after touch the bottom of the screen. You have to try to stay away from the ones that are coming down.

Your ship can get frozen yellow for a short time. Turn back to normal after that.

Your game is much better. Everything that I said is from the Atari 2600. Above.

gracias

What triggers the "Rapid Fire" mode?  I can't tell.

Shoot 3 small birds in a row without missing or hitting anything else 😀

Good to know!

Thanks!

One of my favorite games has always been the classic PHOENIX.

I really like your proposal.

WOW! Great remake! I still have my 2600 cart!

Nice little arcade shooter! Any plans to develop it further e.g. adding a combo system, auto-fire, more weapons or leaderboards?

No plans. Just wanted a simple project to work on after Tutankham.

How many levels are there in total? I've managed to reach lvl14 for now. I do kind of miss an auto-fire and a quick restart but I can manage without :)

pretty much endless but loops around level 10 but adds pods. Next loop adds homing bombs. Plus a couple of “formation” levels thrown in for good measure.

The homing bombs are challenging! I recorded some gameplay.

Wow!  I played this back on my brother's Intellivision console. Really great job!

Thanks Tom, glad you liked it. One day I'll play the original!
